I wrote that I have the hunch of World of Tanks being a rigged game, where via matchmaking, tinkering with penetration and probably hit chances and damage numbers the developers guarantee that everyone remains close to the average in terms of kills and wins, so no one quits either because of “too easy”, nor “im pwned by nolifers lol”. The title is misleading because I still don’t and can’t have a real proof. What I have is something that very much correlate to my theory and has one alternative explanation only: My girlfriend and me started new accounts. The idea is that the Marder II has mm penetration, therefore it can penetrate everything it can face if the match is unrigged and even if its penetration is halved, still can penetrate everything but T5 heavy front armor. Its gun dispersion is small and and the minimum shell damage is OK too.

It used to be possible for a game to have a single +2 tier tank or for bottom tiers to end up in stacked games with 10 top tiers. The matchmaker currently tries to create games with only 3 top tier tanks, which has the effect of more players not top tier in their games .

In May we haveshared our plans for preferential matchmaking and later.. There are other game modes that change the rules of the battle, but.. Answer the following questions to see which political parties and candidates you side with.. The changes focus on vehicle rebalances and matchmaker..
Battle Ratings. Battle ratings are used by War Thunder to determine matchmaking in-game. Battle ratings are calculated by examining how well an aircraft or ground unit fares in different game modes, and they may differ for each game mode for the same vehicle (for example, an aircraft or ground unit may perform considerably better in arcade mode than realistic battles mode, and so will have a.
I have been feeling much more comfortable lately so I decided to move up to tier 3 a few months ago. The light tanks are amazingly fun to play at this tier! Getting to the point of this thread I have just started experimenting with tier 4s and beyond , but I feel like the game is ruined by the matchmaking when you start to see tanks that are 2 tiers higher than you.
I know that this is not a new topic on this forum, but I haven’t ever seen a logical explanation. For me, the game falls apart when you are playing tier 4 and start seeing tier 6s. It takes the fun out of it because your ability to influence the outcome of a game is drastically reduced.
WoT xbox one, tier 8 matchmaking is driving me insane. : WorldofTanksXbox
In World of Tanks, platoons allow players to team up and enter battles together in small groups of two or three. We’ll explain how the new matchmaking system works for those who are new to these recent changes. How Matchmaking Works World of Tanks matchmaking now follows a template-based algorithm. Ideally, the matchmaking system will create teams with only three tanks at top tier, five at mid-tier, and seven at the bottom. This system also tries to take into account the speed of matchmaking to avoid long wait times.
In World of Tanks they’ve implemented a matchmaker, which would mean that you’d only be facing 3 tier X tanks – and is WoWS, 3 tier X isn’t so much of an issue for tier VIII (unless you’re the last ship on your team and you’re up against all 3 tier X enemy ships!).

The Scrapyard: World of tanks matchmaking table
There has not been very much reason for this, other than generally being busy at home, and busy at work. This has had some benefits. The first has been lots of practice in scout tanking — to admittedly variable success. It does been I am slowly grinding out the Chaffee , as well as getting the crews of the T and both Stuarts further trained 38 games between just those three.
I have also managed to get the Ace Tanker on the T Indeed, having got it once I soon got it again in another match.
May 15, · WoT’s matchmaker is rigged – the proof the ideal MM – definitely skill based and based on individual tanks and/or class/tiers of tanks. Delete. HG November 5, at PM. by GAYMING the GAYM of course! low lifes doing “count ins” all day and all night using multiple accounts. Feeling insecure of their “pro elite” status.
Please would you consider a fairer way of matchmaking tier v tanks, tier vii tanks are just too advanced to even consider it being a joyful challenge any more. You might as well match make tier iii tanks with tier v tanks and see how well they fair! If your Churchill is bottom tier, your role may be to act as a meat shield for a higher tier friendly heavy with a better gun than you.
It’s better for your team if you, as the lowest tier heavy, die first, as long as your team get some good hits on the enemy shooting you. Losing your Churchill I in exchange for killing an enemy Tiger is a good result for your team, giving your side an advantage in the rest of the match. The first aim of Blitz is to win, surviving the battle is less important. But, [sarcasm ON] It’s my favorite role in battle to be “meat shield”! It’s VERY interesting and my happy is out of boundaries!
WoT: Basic Guide To Premium Tanks
Figuring out the influential spots, small cubbyholes, firing lanes, etc. World of Tanks is primarily knowing maps very well and which areas are beneficial to you and which areas will result in you being torn to shreds. Abbey Abbey is a smaller map that is decided very quickly which team will have the upper hand. This map has 3 key locations located in the center of the map that are crucial to obtaining map control but at the same time require one another to prevent being flanked.
This is because Airfield is essentially split in two and down the center of the map are defined engagement areas that slow down the pace of the fight in most matches. This can be both good and bad for your team since Airfield usually ends up favoring the team that gets the first good punch in since it can easily snowball due to the small map size.
World of Tanks Match Making System Guide by merig00 A lot of people are asking how the match-making system functions. So here is the general info based on the devs answers.
Thus, when a player has been repeatedly put into too many difficult battles, the balancing is done in favor of easier battle sessions, thereby encouraging the player by providing an easier game environment. Similarly, when the player has been repeatedly put into too many easy battles, the balancing is done in favor of harder battle sessions, thereby keeping the player challenged instead of letting the player become bored with easy games. Another possible algorithm is to increase the battle level by one within the permissible range for a vehicle each time a player wins a battle with that vehicle, and decrease the battle level by one within the permissible range each time a player loses a battle with that vehicle.
If the battle level is already at the upper end of the range and the player wins the battle, the battle level may remain constant. Similarly, if the battle level is already at the lower end of the range and the player loses the battle, the battle level may remain constant. Let me ask you this:
In Air Realistic mode, matchmaking is performed based on the aircraft selected for the battle. Since the vehicles not selected cannot be used in the battle, there is no need to include them in the calculation. In Ground Forces Arcade mode, matchmaking is performed based on the tank with the highest BR in the set. In Ground Forces Realistic mode, matchmaking is performed based on the tank or aircraft with the highest BR in the entire set depending on which vehicle has the highest BR.
Many players have a preference for several modes.

TMC Archives Disclaimer — Depending on your territory some of these vehicles may not be available for sale at the time of writing. Others may be limited edition, which are occasionally on sale. It has been a while — nearly a year — since we reviewed any Premium tanks here at TMC. Before we start, people ask the question — or indeed forget to ask the question — why bother with Premium tanks? There are a few reasons you may want to own one or more.
The first is they earn cash — more per battle than the equivalent non-Premium of the same Tier — and their ammunition is typically cheaper than standard tanks. The second is crew training.
