That line of thinking stinks because it avoids the true value of the person in order to make our own ride easier. It gives us the excuse we are looking for to slow down, take a nap, let those other folks take care of themselves. Commiting to pray On our Youth Ministry Team we made the commitment to pray personally for individual young people and for the ministering leaders we serve with. So guard the leaders from your own excuses by remembering their God-appointed place of importance. They understood how great it was to walk with God: What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the LORD our God is near us whenever we pray to him? It is amazing that God would share our concerns as we bring them to him.

Etiquette for Christian Youth. Courtesy, Decorum, and Manners. 1. This is merely an introductory presentation of a very large and wide subject to make you all think a little.
The TV shows, movies and books we read all portray love in so many different ways. Sometimes with all the different portrayals of love, its hard to really determine what true love is. Many times, dating relationships are centered around selfish motives. For example, someone might date the starting quarterback in high school because it helps their popularity, or it makes them look good.
True love puts its own best interests on the back shelf and is looking out for the needs and interests of the other person. Any relationship should focus on getting to know the other person long before the physical comes into play. Its one of the best ways to make sure your relationship will last, because it is based on something deeper than just the physical.
Christian Youth Group Ministry
Run by Youthworks , the camp aims to equip young people like me, I’m only 16 with leadership skills so we can continue to glorify God in everything we do. The talks were on the book of 1 Samuel, which is filled with the bravest, strongest, and most Godly leaders you could find. Lessons in leadership Starting with Samuel’s birth story, we were challenged to consider who we gave our allegiance to. God was the only answer that made sense, as he cared for all his people, and gives us a purpose to live that nothing else can.
We looked at Hannah, a commoner, who is heard by God and is used to bring about great things.

This is a fun youth ministry game that serves a double purpose: To remind the youth players of things that strengthen or weaken their relationship with God; To have fun as a group of young people who are building their faith in Jesus Christ. Leaders will have blown up about balloons of various colors and shapes. The leaders will write phrases or words that remind players of some of the ways they can be closer to God on half of the balloons.
Divide the youth into two teams, and divide the room with tape on the floor. Leaders will throw both the good and the bad balloons equally on each side. If the word or phrase on the balloon is good, players want to hold onto them. After all of the balloons have been tossed out, give the players a couple of minutes to play the game. Even good balloons stuffed up the players shirts count. The team with the most points is the winner of the round. The balloons can be gathered and play can begin again.

With over half of our country not married, we are not over half of the church. Also, a another needed prayer is in marriage preparation…I have found through my own work that

The average teen has at least online and face-to-face friends they can reach with the gospel. Many Christian teens attend public schools which provides them a daily context for relational evangelism. Young people are driven by a cause and making disciples is the ultimate one. Ministry to the youth is very crucial in the church. Majority of Hungry Generation is young people.
I want to share three most important things to have in youth ministry. This may offend some religious people but our God is a good God. The Kingdom of God is portrayed as a feast, not a funeral. God is a creative God. One of the reasons many youth ministries will not grow is that they look more like funeral homes than wedding feasts.
Why My Church Doesn’t Have a Singles Ministry
Book of Jude Brad Anderson: Like us, Jude lived in an age which preferred toleration to truth, and regarded all religions as equally valid aspects of the quest for a supreme being. He calls upon his readers to reject the false teachers and to stand up for the true faith. Christian music is a very controversial issue within many churches today. Churches have split because of disagreements over the style of music the church uses or does not use.

Whatever the size of your group, this lesson should be workable. Always ask for volunteers. Most kids get a kick out of acting, especially if they are allowed to be silly. Tell them to be dramatic, which tends to make it funny, as well as pointed.
If you volunteer in Sunday school or youth ministry, speak up for boy-friendly curriculum, activities and lessons. Don’t make your boys do things that embarrass them. If you notice the girls outperforming the boys, change activities.
Let me introduce myself: A couple years ago, I stumbled upon an amazing tool that transformed our Adult Sunday School Program. In October of , I literally found myself teaching an Adult Sunday School Class the teacher called in sick and I filled in with only 1 lonely student! I left the church shaking my head. After an hour on the phone, it became very clear what the root of my problem was: We Needed Lesson Plans!
Turns out, my teachers were confused and overwhelmed at developing a thoughtful lesson plan for Adults. Many reported that they spent over 3 hours preparing a 1 hour lesson! The students were getting discouraged because they felt the lessons were disorganized and they left feeling confused about the topic. My Sunday School Teachers were thrilled After 6 long months of development, it seemed our Lesson Plans were the ticket to getting our program on track.
